- Ask tech@ whether your website uses Apache webserver or Nginx webserver.
- If it's Nginx then first activate the Nginx - php5 compat. plugin in your wordpress admin dashboard if it is not already activated (Ignore the Nginx - php4 compat. plugin). (see the screenshot)
- After that choose the permalinks structure that you prefer in Settings - Permalinks (see the screenshot)
Test it by checking the urls of your posts and pages.
Optional : write a complaint to tech@ that permalinks were not configured already
